Hotels in downtown Flushing (see map below) are conveniently close to the campus, so we recommend out-of-town attendees to look for lodging there (for instructions on how to get to campus from downtown Flushing, click Venue on the right). Downtown Flushing is known for its asian restaurants including Chinese, Korean to Malaysian and Thai (click here for a quick guide). It is also easy transportation into Manhattan: the #7 subway line ends at Main Street and Roosevelt Avenue, in the center of the neighborhood, and the Long Island Rail Road has a station near the #7 train.

Sheraton LaGuardia East Hotel

Reservation requests received after these 10 rooms are taken will be accepted on a space and rate availability basis.

30 rooms are booked for single persons at a rate of $179/night (exclusive of applicable state and local taxes, currently 14.75%, as well as $3.50 occupancy tax). Asiatic Hotel

20 rooms (or more depending on the need) with a king bed or 2 single beds are booked at a rate of $90/night (exclusive of applicable taxes). Reservations can be made by calling 1-718-321-7779 and mentioning the group code CUNY18 for the special rate.

As far as we know, there is no cut-off date for this hotel.

Adria Hotel

15 rooms are booked for 1-2 persons at a rate of $129/night (7 rooms with queen beds) and $139/night (8 rooms with double beds). The rates are subject to applicable sales taxes. Each reservation includes complimentary hot buffet breakfast, complimentary Wi-Fi, and complimentary parking. Reservations can be made by calling 1-718-631-4900 and mentioning you are with the MORIS2018 conference, or by going to the website and booking with the block code of 1801MORIS2.

All reservations must be made by December 6, 2017. Any reservations received after this date will be honored on a space available basis at the prevailing rate.

The original special-rate reservation period for this hotel has been extended. The above rooms can be reserved at the above rates up to December 28, 2017.
